You know the whole inattentive husband stereotype? He forgets to take out the laundry from the washing machine, leaves cupboards open after taking out a single dish, and doesn't always clean out the kitchen drain strainer. Well, in my relationship, I fear that these bad habits actually describe me, not my boyfriend. He has his annoying little quirks, too. Namely, he's usually too lazy to put leftovers in tupperware after we cook, preferring to put entire pots and pans in the fridge that take up tons of space. Also, dusting is simply not a part of his housecleaning routine. However, I admit that most "lazy husband" memes seem to be about me. We both have things that tick each other off, and sometimes we might seem more like annoyed roommates forced to live with together than two people who are in love with each other and actively choose this life.   • No, listen; there is logic here. When he leaves the kitchen messy, it is a chaotic mess, but when I leave it “messy” there is some order happening even if it is not immediately noticeable. Like, yes, the dishes are overflowing from the sink, but they are nicely stacked.
